No account or visitor profile

You do not need to create an account. The YourMugen app does not ask for your name or email address, run analytics, or maintain a visitor profile.

Your games stay in this browser

Projects, imported assets, build snapshots, and cover pictures are saved locally in your browser. A few preferences and engine settings use local storage. The Studio does not upload your game files to a YourMugen account or server.

Clearing this site's browser data, including site storage, deletes all locally saved games and assets. Browser settings may group this with clearing the cache; clearing cached images and files alone may not remove site storage. Export a backup from My Games before clearing browser data.

Third-party game assets

YourMugen does not supply third-party characters, stages, screenpacks, or mods for you to import. The app includes bundled engine and demo files. You choose any additional assets and their sources.

Check that assets are safe and virus-free before use. Scan files from other sites with security software. YourMugen does not vet third-party files and is not responsible for malware or damage caused by assets you obtain from others.

Other services

The landing page loads fonts from Google Fonts and may link to third-party asset sites. Those services may receive request information when your browser contacts them and handle it under their own policies. Your hosting provider may also process standard request logs needed to deliver the site.
